WATCH TRAILER HERE : http://www.ellusionist.com/tactics-by-j-t-chalatsis.html
TacTics by J.T. Chalatsis is a visual array of trickery with Tic Tacs. A minty fresh approach to the fundamentals of magic with everyday objects. The breakout effect on this project teaches you to penetrate an empty container with a tic tac... IN THE SPECTATORS HAND. It doesn't get more powerful than that. They're holding it and then it's trapped inside. Visuals like that are usually computer generated. The beauty is, you can let them EAT it. You end completely clean in most routines. - Penetrate the plastic box - Transpose different flavours - Produce a GIANT tic-tac - Color Changes & Much much more... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Includes Special Bonus Effect by Geraint Clarke - Turn a White tic tac Orange in their hand, then let them eat it. It's REAL ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Handmade in the USA by Ellusionist's in-house prop makers, each gimmick is precision-made with incredible accuracy. A full close-up set in your pocket. Equip yourself TODAY. |

I wonder if the tic tax penetration is the same method as Cashan Wallace ' s ring in tic tax effect in camera tricks dvd

How examinable is this?
Im performing Mickael Chatelain version of this which uses a normal tick tack box that can be handed out in the end. This one is slightly more visual. I like it. The reason that I ask is that people often want to se the box afterwards. It is just so visual that they suspect the box. |

Hey guys! Thank you all for your interest in TacTics, I really hope you will enjoy this as much as I do!
lord_wallmotto, Thank you! The TicTac box ends clean, I always have my spectators examine it PLUS in most routines your spectators can even eat the TicTac in the end. Please let me know if you have anymore questions - I'll be happy to help! |

Oh boy, this brings up sore memories. This effect came out after my release of Catapult double dvd set (over 20,000 copies sold) which did a deep dive exploratory of a coin penetrating a tic tac box. David Roth and many others gave it great praise making it one of the first underground homegrown DVDs to explode. This is such a blatant rip off that hocus pocus and others immediately pulled it. Tactic DVD now calls out my name and Catapult but a shameless steal none the less. One that unnecessarily incorporates an elastic coin pull. Coincidences happen. I've built on others and others have built on me. But this is the most egregious thievery I've ever seen (not to mention been a victim of) in this business.
Edit: looks like I jumped the gun. This is in fact different than a previously released DVD called "tactic" by Jonathan Egginton.
Sugar Rush is here! Freakishly visual magic. http://www.plattmagic.com

Hi,
I have one question. So do you have to wear anything for the tricks? Because I'm not wearing any rings and etc. usually, so it would be weird. But I'm loving this effect, so I really want to invest. Thanks! |

Naked? Well why didn't you say? You have a buyer. In all seriousness this is bloody good and very reasonably priced. Will be getting this very shortly.

Almost like an update version of Strip considering you see tictacs more than listening strips

I picked this up as a Xmas gift to myself and I have to say that I really like it a LOT.
This is a great thing to carry with you and perform spur of the moment. I'm always looking for effects that you can get into without looking like a magic geek (not that there's anything wrong with that) but sometimes it's nice not to have to pull out a deck of cards or something that looks like a magic prop. This fits the bill really nicely for that. It's similar in many ways to Prohibition, which I also really like, but I don't often find myself in situations where there are beer bottles present anymore. So this kind of fills that void. Admittedly, it doesn't pack quite the same wallop. The sound you get with Prohibition really helps sell the effect and create greater impact. Tactics is like a mini version of it, but still very visual and amazing, plus being able to do it in the specs hand adds a lot. Some excellent, really visual effects you can do with the supplied props. Actually goes beyond what Prohibition can do if you so desire. I would recommend it. |

I got this as well as I love effects with tictac boxes. However I do have some issues.
The effects are nice and I really like them, however where I have issue is the quality control. My set came without a piece that is required to do any of the effects and the other gimmicks were sticky to the touch for some reason not related to the effect. And the packaging left me a bit cold as it was smaller than the big tictac depth wise. So the box was pushed out. It had the link to the instructions printed on the lip but it was cut off by the rounded edges. And when I typed them in they didn't work. Had I not bought this direct from E, I would not know what to do with it. The effects are worth it, and I hope mine was just a bunch of flaws that happened all at once.
I don't care how fast or slow you are.... As long as I am faster.. -J-

This seems to be the norm now with E. I feel for the creators. Not sure why they go with E? Perhaps they offer a higher profit margin to the detriment of the purchaser.
