Hello everyone! I recently found what I assume is a new coin trick by Johnson. It's called "Nickel to Half." A description I read claims the trick changes a nickel into a half with no palming, no switching, and no getting rid of anything! That sounds pretty amazing, even for a Johnson trick! If I didn't know better, I'd even say it's impossible. So, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it and has a review. If anyone knows, I'd really appreciate receiving a private message explaining how this is even possible.
Patiently Baffled, Dr. Faust

The nickel to half dollar is not new. It's been out for a long time. I bought one about 8 years ago. Basically you hold a nickel between your thumb and pointer finger with your middle curled behind. The face of the nickel is facing your spectator. A little wave of the hand in an up & down motion and the nickel changes into a half dollar. Only one coin is used. ( Note: it's a Johnson product
wink wink)

Thanks again to everyone who sent me a PM about this! Thanks to you, I am now quite an expert on this trick, and I am now anything but baffled.
Enthusiastically Grateful, Dr. Faust

Can this be handed out for examination either before the performance or after or both without any type of switch?
