If I'm not mistaken, it's a routine for Bromley's "Impossible Deck Vanish" that he demonstrated and explained on his Live From London! video.
His approach is thoughtful, and an admirable attempt at explaining what that odd looking thing is supposed to be. It's also designed to reduce heat on the prop after the vanish. From reading his website, it seems like he added a few more touches after the Live From London! lecture. |
