Alright, I use the Vernet mulitplying balls, and also have the climax. Does anyone use this and if so, how do you steal it? I have played with a lot of different things, but nothing has worked thus far. Im sure the little metal tabs on the back are supposed to help with this, but I don't know how. Any help would be great.

I don't use the Vernet balls myself, but I have seen the 4 ball climax. My understanding is that, with a little misdirection, you do a jacket steal and then produce the additional four balls. Then dump everything into a hat to end your routine.
I did see one guy from Vancouver perform the 4 ball finale to great effect. Basically, he positioned his hands in an X shape immediately after the steal. Normally, this would be a very visual way to display the 8 balls. But in addition to that, the also had a dove appear between the cross hairs of the X. It was a very creative, visual ending to his routine. Kent

I use to do this routine years ago. As for the Climax, I was wearing a tux with tails. The steal was very easy and smooth.
Heck, just lay it behind something on your table and pick it up! With misdirection this will work. I have produced Fan to See (cards) this way. Just block your routine to match your movements. This is a good test to get you thinking on how to accomplish the desire effect that you are seeking. The enjoyment of magic is thinking on your own and finally coming up with something that will work! It may be simple but if it works, then that is the magic. Try this, open up three balls and place a small piece of flash paper in the balls. Not inside! You want the flash paper to hang out of the ball. At the start of your act lite a candle and while holding the candle reach into the flame and produce a ball in a flash of fire (flash paper). Set the burning candle down on your table and continue with you act. Produce the next two balls from the flame. Work your routine and after you have done the climax you can vanish all the balls or just place them into a container/hat. Pick up the candle and reach into the flame one last time and produce from a flash of fire a cane. Blow the flame out, indicating that the routine is over. Set the candle back down to your table and twirl the cane. Smile and bow your head. You are done. Another idea would to place a ball next to the fire and as it bust into a flash of fire toss that hand upward and have silver glitter appear. The ball has turn into glitter. Anyway, there are many different methods to take when coming up with a routine that is your own. Good luck, and don’t ask for help to quickly. The enjoyment of learning magic is digging down inside of yourself and finding out what kind of magician you really are and the type of magic that will fit your persona. Ray |

I used to do the final production, stealing the four ball climax from under my coat. Initially I used the attached clips by pinning small safety pins into my suspenders, then clipping the gimmick to them. But I found the removal awkward so I switch to velcox to hold the gimmick to my suspenders. It was much simpler to remove.

Thanks guys, all great comments.
Jim I too have toyed with the safety pin idea. I may try and work something out with the velcrow, good idea! My Best, Allen
