It depends on where you are performing as to wether you need to bother with license's. Search for postings on this if you are interested, I am sure someone has talked about it and I am not sure on the exact situation. If the license isn't a factor you can just pick a piece of music that suits your style and you like.
There are some rights free cds around written for musicians which might help. If you are fortunate enough to know a musician/composer you could always get them to help. Try a few pieces and see which one compliments your performance Hope this helps a little |

Let us know a bit more about your style, your character, what is going on in the act and the pace that you are going for? All of these will help us better get a sense of your act and what music suggestions might be best for it.
I collect music from all over and have more magic music then I have acts and ideas for. I would be happy to give you some ideas, but I need to know more about you and the act you plan on doing. Kyle

Most cd places will have new age or jazz sections. You can find some really great stuff in these places by just listening in on some albumns. I would try the best of albumns in new age or jazz or techno. Or you can get compilation Cd's and listen to them. That way they will give you a feel for variuous music. If you like soemthing, you can then explore it further.
