I've been doing walk around and I started with just a few effects in this order.
I start with crazy man's handcuffs and a linking band variation. Then in their hands with CMH. I follow that up with a story about money being held as I change ones to fives and back to ones again with extreme burn. Then I follow with a cautionary tale of gamblers and hustlers with Stand Up Monte. I also have a Daleys Last Trick, Twisting Aces and Twins as an add on if the situation warrants a bit more time. ( Extreme tippers or special guests etc. I also have Ann. Waltz handy but no instant reset.) This is after carrying around a million things to show people over the years. Everyone knows what a thumb tip is and it is easier to keep things off the table. I finally have fiber optics for a big close if the group gets big enough. But short and sweet the top 3 are the workers. |

With the mention of close up walk-around tricks it might be worth also mentioning your openers..
Approaching tables cold can be daunting and even more so if you haven't established rapport very quickly... Some may wish to share their experiences here? Nic |
