I'm planning on buying this as well. But I want to ask a few questions before I do. What kind of street performances can you do? Is there a cointainer that would nullify it's magnetic field? Where should I buy it from? And if it's just a magnet, what stops other magicians from going to a science store and buying a very strong magnet?

I bought mine from a Café member. It is a really cool piece of equipment and I have only just begun to figure out how to use the thing well. For things like a coin vanish, it does take some misdirection. My 4 yr. old daughter caught me. It is an awesome effect when a papermatch dances in your hand.
It is big, but it can be hidden very well. Being winter, it is the perfect time to use it b/c the clothing helps hide it. You cannot nullify the magnetic field. That being said, it is not so strong that you can't easily take other precautions. For example, walking past the TV is fine. I think even your credit cards would be safe if in your wallet, while the M5 is on your wrist. |
