Hey guys. I saw someone who performed with CD's. I am curious, where can one buy these discs used for magic? I like the style, and what is the name of them?

These CD's are not special. They are the same as used for mass production of CD programs, that is without any makeing on either side. Check your local Best Buy store. This is true sleight of hand magic. There is a manuscipt on the subject from Denny and Lee Magic. It cost $25. This will get you started.

You may be able to use some of the Jumbo Coin 'moves' that are published in a book on Jumbo Coin magic.

The guy at my local magic shop uses the CD's from color changing CD's. I think that this is because they, unlike unburned CD's have no printing on them.

Nice effect and move. I like it and makes for a very cool visual color change. It might be fun to do that as a solid color changing Cd manip sequence.

I've had John's book for a year or two and it is excellent! The routine is very adaptable to any performing style. It's got a great flow to it.
If you're even slightly interested in CD manipulation, you should get this book.
