Aaron,
It has been said many times that listening to classical music can increase your mind's productivity. I personally find it to be soothing and quite enjoyable to listen to. However, I also find that listening to Hip Hop can increase my creativity with coins. Listening to Trance or Industrial helps with coins and cards and also with routining. Do you have a favorite type of music to listen to when working or coming up with new material. Thanks. Corey B. |

As a classical pianst in addition to being a magician, I believe that in music lies the last true form of magic. It has the power to change and manupilate, make people laugh or cry or go to war. The illusions that we present as modern day magicians have some of that same power, but it is meaningless next to the power of music.

I tend to agree with you. But I was not chosen to be a musician, I was chosen to do magic. I can ***** about it, or do magic shows. While I do magic shows though, I can do my very best to make them feel more like a rock concert, and less like a wake.
Live rock and roll is the most exhilarating, magical feeling i've ever had. I have a few times seen magicians who make make it feel that way. I've seen Tamariz make it feel that way, and I've seen Eric Mead make it feel that way. I've also seen Jeff Mcbride make it feel that way. If people watch you, and leave your show feeling the same way they do after seeing Neil Young, you're tapping into power. Real Magic. Shoot high---be a rock star. |
