I need an 18 inch colored Jesus silk. Anyone have one they want to get rid of or know the best place to get one?

Duane Lafflin sells b/w and color Jesus silks: http://www.laflinmagic.com/
Just to give you another option, Doc Haley's has a b/w Jesus silk: http://www.gospelmagic.com/ Some people prefer not to use an image of Jesus, but instead just use a plain red silk to symbolize Him. (I think there was a discussion on this topic not long ago.) Depending on your routine, that may be an option as well. -Brad |

I agree that red silk is a better choice to represent Christ, since it was his blood, not his face that saves us.

It depends on your application as to what is best for you and your message. I usually use a target dyed silk w/ red in middle, gold next, green next and the outside purple. This is tannen's sunburst silk, abbott's sells it too.
I say I have a picture of Jesus and show the silk. I say it is not a picture of Jesus when He walked on earth, I don't know what He looked like but this pictures Jesus to me. Red = His blood for my sins, gold = heaven (streets of gold) where I will spend eternity w/ Jesus, green = growth Im suppose to grow closer to Jesus on earth through prayer, Bible, etc, purple = color of royality He is the king of all kings. There is the short condensed version. My point is Jesus can be seen and illustrated in many ways, our job is to find the best way within our routine to maximize our show and the magic and maximize our message so it leaves our audience with an a clear presantation of the Gospel or Biblical truth. For you a picture of Jesus silk may work---it may not. Curt |
