Never mind! I've found a great source and ordered 500 pcs! I had lots of fun with it.It really gives you the ability to make bird calls and it's very well made and it's so small! You can also squeak like a mouse if you are using Judy the mouse.Dan Garrett has a very in one of his videos and you can make the sound that a balloon makes when you let go of the air when you pull the nozzle of the balloon flat.
I love it!

Hello Maps!

Found your add!
See that you found a good source! That is great.
In case you need more in future:
I have realy good ones: "BIRDY" checkout: http://www.birdy.nl
Not the cardboard ones. Birdy is made of strong flexible material. Not a CARDBOARD mouth piece, or PLASTIC membrane. BIRDY realy works. Many equal shaped SWISS WARBLERS do not work at all or poorly. They use a PLASTIC membrane which is not working. Ask our sales department to make a "whistle demo" by phone or see the video at our site: http://www.birdy.nl Our compatator missused and copied our product, is NOT able to "whistle" his own product and use our brand name "birdy" in the Google searchmachine. We are not faking the sound of bird whistles by a REAL downloaded bird at our site!
Our wholesale price is fair, we accept PayPal and have a Bank of America account.
(info requests: info@birdy.nl)

Birdy / Ronald Huisman, Netherlands

I used to do a routine for playgroup ages using one of these 'warblers'.
For years now I have only been able to obtain them at a ridiculous price (£1.00 each)when, wholesale, I could buy 144 for something like £7.00.
I no longer do the routine because you can use up to two (possibly 3) in one show -they were not particularly robust.
3.5 Euros each seems expensive to me - what is your wholesale price .. I would would love to start doing the routine again because it went down so well.

Best of,

Dave.

Holy Moley!

$6.00 bucks EACH?!?!

I used to get theses for LESS THAN a penny each and sold them for 2 bucks! NOW they are selling for $3.00 to 12.00ea!!! (Most selling for about $6.00 bucks EACH! Retail)

=> You can get "THE ORIGINAL" Swiss Warblers wholesale at:
http://www.SwissWarbler.com 1,000 piece min at .52 cents each (less for bigger quantities)

=> Or only .79 cents each 'one-at-a-time' from: http://www.larocksmagic.com/clown/noise.htm

That should help some!

I recently bought the swiss warbler called "birdy" from newplanetmagic.com. It is a better quality compared to the others I tried. It can last for 3 days. I think it is made in the Netherlands.
The cheaper ones are good for 1 or 2 uses. But if you want to pitch this, the cheaper ones will do.
I wonder what these metal washers are really intended for aside from the warblers. I want to try to make my own.
BTW, where is a good place to learn the different bird sounds? Or is it just self study and a trial and error process?

Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. The Birdy is the best by far. The Swiss Warblers are at second place with some better than others. The only "imporvement" that I've seen in the Swiss Warblers is the paper backing was replaced by a thin plastic backing. http://www.newplanetmagic.com is the only place that I know that sells them and calls them the "improved" Swiss Warbler, but they have recently discontinued the item. Most users of the "improved" warbler think that it is too rigid and does not give a good mouth feel. That is, it feels like an uncomfortable rigid foreign object in your mouth. Some users don't mind them though so to each his own.

The standard Swiss Warbler is OK for the infrequent user, but a professional should get the Birdy. In the long run it will pay for itself since it gives a reliable flawless sound and is comfortable when in use (and also made of more durable materials). At least that has been my experience.

Hope that helps.

The Birdy and Nisgov Swiss Warblers (Nisgov has two types) are both made in the Netherlands. The Ederna Swiss Warbler is made in Germany. Check out http://www.newplanetmagic.com for a review of each type.
