Hi Dean, I own and use your closeup mat. I just recently used it at a show. I'd also like to say that I've been using your call shot, great effect, absolutely killed them. Apparently Doug Conn uses it to and he has a reverser back fire ending.
I have one question about your mat, I emailed you before and you said you have a table that is made from your mat that is really steady, are you going to sell this at all? Cheers |

Hi Sean, I remember you. The blonde guy from the A1 convention. I am not making the table anymore. My friend Doug Malloy is making it now. In fact, he has made it into a sound table. He built some speakers into it. You use a CD player and the table plays music. It is good for the times when you just want to sit back and do some close up to music.
The table is on his web site at: Click here! The table is beautiful and costs $550.00. Solid as a rock. Hope you are doing OK my friend. Hope to run into you again someday. Are you still in Hong Kong? Later, Dean |

Hi Dean,
On a few of your video's you are performing at a round table with a green top. Did you make that table and if not, where do you get it? It seems to be a good size for close-up work and it looks like it has a nice amount of padding with a good surface for cards and coins. Thanks for the info, John
PM me if you want to chat sometime.

The Dean Dill Close-Up Pad is a thing of beauty. Every one of my trade show clients has purchased a Dean Dill Pad for their booths. I am the lucky guy that gets to perform on the pad.
Dean's craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. If you can afford one, I highly reccommend that you get one for yourself. Regards, Paul Green |

John the table was made by me. The hard part is finding a sturdy base. The Top is cut in a circle. You pick the size. put some foam underneath and find some pool table felt and cover it. That's it. Of course there is technique involved to cover it right. Trial and error will work too.
Thanks Paul for your recommendation. I can always count on you. Thanks for all the years. You are a true friend, Dean |

I bought Dean's production pad from him several years ago, before all the cheaper copies came out. I know a guy who bought one of the copies about a year ago--it's already worn out! Mine has seen hundreds (if not thousands) of performances, and still looks great!
Thanks, Dean!
