We have just put up several complete clips from our S4S DVD "Introduction to the Shell Game" with Whit Haydn and Bob Sheets. The clips include the Haydn Turnover, the Maneuvers and the Sheets Acquitment. These are some very significant, unique and original moves for the shell game.
More such clips on the Shell Game and Three-Card Monte and Fast and Loose will be going up. The demo of the complete routine for the Jumbo Trade Show Shells is up, as well as Chef Anton's complete Trick-Shot Show. (Chef is the two-time national trick shot champion at pool.) Check it all out at: http://www.whithaydn.com/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=15 |

Whit, every time you post something along these lines here, I take a look at your avatar picture and think, "Waitaminute - this has got to be some kind of scam or flim-flammary - I'm about to get fleeced!"
But then I click on the link, and I'm wrong. This is great stuff to watch and learn from. Thank you.

If only I had been born with an honest face, O'Malley! What I could have gotten away with...
I have just put up some new clips from our Three-Card Monte DVD. These include the entire recreation of the Cracker Parker Mob's script featuring myself, Billy McComb, Gazzo, Chef Anton, R. Paul Wilson, Zach Dubnoff, Jeff Thomas and Adam Siefke which we call the Tetley's. Also is Chef Anton's performance of the entire School for Scoundrels exhibition routine for the monte, Doc Eason teaches the Slick Corner, and various other shorter clips. This is a lot of valuable stuff that normally you would have to buy the DVD to see. All of our DVD's are so full of incredible new and unpublished stuff, we thought this was the only way to get people to understand how they differ from other DVD's on the market. The Tetley's section alone cost over $3000 to produce. It was a three-camera shoot with intense editing. No other magic video that we know of has attempted anything so involved and expensive. It is less than fifteen minutes of our DVD's three hours of video on the Three-Card Monte. The DVD's also include a 160 page ebook with over 180 photos and illustrations. Check it out. |

These DVD's have to be some of the best values in educational material for magicians that I have in my personal collection.

Is it wrong that I found the Cracker Parker Mob bit amusing? I was grinning ear to ear at Billy McComb's "smoothing" things over at the end.
Is it wrong? Yes, it is . . . very wrong and amusing. and wrong.

Fantastic! What a great resource. Thanks Whit.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

The last bit with McComb and the wallet was Billy's idea. He thought it would be funny. It would not really happen that way in real life, but the rest of the smoother's job is depicted accurately.
I am glad you found Billy's idea funny. It was meant to be. I had little sympathy for the character I played--the Mark--in the first place. I think the whole thing is funny. |

Whit,
Those clips are great! What is the name of the move that Burt Lancaster does in th "Kiss the blood off my hands" clip? Throwing the 3 cards in one move has a nice look to it. Thanks for sharing all of those clips.
