Cyril has some pretty amazing stuff. BUT... I saw a clip of him on YouTube doing an Ambitious Card routine where he botched a false shuffle. When I say botched, I mean that you could see him not actually shuffle the cards. He still had the audiences mouths gaping open at the end though!

He is a TV magician - no doubt. And his tricks often require a lot of preparation. He tends to amaze with the tricks, rather his sleight of hands ability. At least as far as I have seen.

He's got amazing sleight of hand. I don't know what you're talking about. I saw this cigarette routine he did in a french casino that was all sleight of hand and absolutely flawless.

No magician is flawless, but Cyril is very accomplished and a good professional magician.

I wouldn't say he is flawless, I would say TV magic is flawless.

totally true! TV Magic is always Flawless if it isn't peformed live. Of course, the producers will cut and paste so that it is. Cyril is good, but I think a lot of what he does, is set-up EXTREMELY big. |

I enjoy watching Cyril and many of his effects play very strong. That said, he has his flaws and I think that David Blaine is a better performer.
