I keep telling myself I just have to get this, if nothing else but for the story and the plastic cards!

That whole bit is really entertaining Doc, especially for a lay audience.

I perform B. John’s twins, and it is one of my most requested tricks, I can only imagine doing the Stan, Kate and Edith bit.

Is there any interesting background on this effect? I’m sure many here would like to know. Smile

Stan Kate and Edith is a great bar trick ...but I have found over the years that if you perform anywhere outside of the bar... you have to be extra careful.

I rarely use it these days in a corporate situation... it is NOT politically correct and even though I have performed this to *** and Lesbian groups (who love it BTW), the general community can easily take offense to it... and it is simply not worth walking that line.

It is a fun routine and gets a great reaction in the bar but just remember to use extreme caution...

Now this being said ...I know that magicians in general don’t have a real good filter as to proper material. I had a guy argue with me that Goshman’s ding dong never offended an audience that he worked for.. well I have news for him... it is incredibly offensive to a lot of people. Even though someone doesn’t say something to you about it, it may mean that they are so horrified that you did that to his(mother, girlfriend,
grandmother) that they don’t even want to speak to you...

In keeping with a former thread, they don’t remember what you did - they remember how you made them feel... and if you embarrassed them (or horrified them) then that is what they remember...

All that being said I still love SKE because I perform it with a light heart and lots of face takes and smiles along the way.

Oops... I forgot the most important thing... that this is the brainchild of Kerry Pollack an incredibly funny and talented man ...on a number of different fronts... I have perhaps been associated with this because of my tapes, but

THIS IS NOT MY ORIGINAL ROUTINE...

I sell the cards and such but

Kerry Pollack is the genius responsible for this entertaining routine.
