Some years ago I saw a swindle / con with a loop (often a necklace) that is laid on the table and the spectators challenge is to place their finger in a loop. If the finger is caught when the necklace is pulled the spectator wins if the finger is left “free”, as it were, the spectator looses.
My question is this: Does anyone know what it is called – if so please can you let me know and where I could find it documented (I guess school for scoundrels will be a good place when I know what it is called?) |
