Good evening to all, I just want to introduce myself to all of you wonderful artists. I live in San Francisco, am a college student, and have recently REDISCOVERED this artform. I perfomed magic for friends and family (typical cups and balls, chop cup, change bag, coin routines such as scotch and soda and 21 cent trick, as well as everyday card tricks from scarne's book) as a child until I reached adolescence. I regret not sticking to this art as now I am in college and have been bit by the magic bug again, and want to expand my knowledge indefinite. this time, I know I am infected for life! there are so many facets in magic out there I never knew about as I do now. magic is something I definitely am going to practice till I'm old and grey. I have aquired a taste in close-up magic, in front of your face sort of thing. ofcourse, a performance for family members or a big group of friends is something I like to do as well. mentalism is also my cup of tea. I look forward to reading and sharing posts with you fine people of the craft and wish you all the best of astonishment.

Welcome to the Café! I too live in the bay area. Forster City to be exact. I also followed in a similar path, doing magic in high school and then stopping to pursue other interests. I too wish I would have stuck with it!
