I was revisiting J.K. Hartman's Packet Magic recently and came across this impromptu Ace assembly (Four by One by One). It's so clean and satisfying, and I searched but couldn't find anything on it. I was wondering if anyone uses this gem of a trick and what your thoughts are on it. I think it's the new trick that I'll do when someone hands me a deck and states, "Show me some magic."

The book it's in is "Jerry Hartman presents-Packet Magic." Find this book if you can because it is amazing.

On page 205 of JK Hartman's huge tome of card magic, CARDCRAFT, is an "extensive reworking" of Four By One By One. Called FOURMIDABLE, is well worth an investigation, as is Four By One By One.

Cheers,
Richard

Richard,

Thanks for letting me know about the newest reworking of this trick. I was not aware of it and I will definitely look into it.
