I was wondering what do you guys do when someone is trying to video tape your act in the streets.
I mean, can you really do something to avoid this besides stop performing????

Why does that bother you? I don't mind pics or vids when I perform.

Technically, if you are in a public place, there isn't much you can do.

But, off the top of my head, if I really wanted to stop it, I'd pick up my hat, saying "Hold on a minute, I see someone who'd like to make a contribution." I'd walk right up to the camera and say "And now, a word from our sponsors...", proffering the hat.

At worst, you'll get a good laugh (and get in a "hat line"). At best, you'll get a healthy tip from the offending videotaper, and he might even stop taping. In fact, if that doesn't stop him, I doubt anything you did would.
