I notice that when I first open up the Café main page, that I can tell by the color of the coffee cups what areas have received new posts since my last visit. The same is true for the individual forums.
The problem is that if I stay on longer than say 10-15 minutes, the posts that were new when I logged on are no longer new because the time interval is too short to reset the "new" topics. I may take the time to read one forum and by the time I get to another, all the topics are "old". Could we some how fix this by lengthening the time or keeping the "new" posts active while I am still initially logged the board? Thanks, Jason

I've changed the cookie time to twenty minutes, but may have to change it back if it causes a problem with the people doing official business here (Mods, Grammar Hosts, et al). This means the cups won't change for twenty minutes from the first time you accessed a Café page since your last visit. I really wouldn't want to go any longer than that.
Somebody kick me off the computer, will ya?

Skill, all your posts are in the areas that aren't counted. If you post in the magic discussion areas, your post count will increase.
