Here's a mini review:
Ok, this effect is not really for me. I thought you could borrow any coin, but that's not the case. You can use any coin, but you couldn't just walk up to someone, borrow any one of there coins and do this. Im sure some will find this useful, but for me its just not that good. There are other things I was not pleased with, but I can't go into any specifics because it would be exposure. Not disrespecting the creator or anything, but this is not for me and I think there are better methods available. Pros: Cheap Easy to perform Basically insatntly reset Cons: Can't borrow any coin Not too long, but quite a bit of pre set up Need long sleeves Hands can't be shown freely after penetration (Is possible, but I can't really explain because of exposure) So there you go, this is my opinion of it. |

I just rec'd this and here is what I think.
First of all the teaching is top notch on this download. There is some comic relief that I really enjoyed also. So as far as the teaching and video quality it is very decent. Especially for under $10. On the effect, when done correctly, it looks like pure magic. What I like about it is you can show both sides of both hands right before you do the "move". The sleight of hand is not to complicated but will require some practice to do it cleanly. The gimmick is also pretty basic and very easy to make. You can definitely make it for under $1 and most likely you will already have everything you need to do so. Here is my only complaint. Well I guess it's not a complaint really, more of an annoyance. You have to have long sleeves to do this trick. This is to be expected with an effect like this and it says in the ad copy that long sleeves are required, which I think is pretty great that they tell you up front. Right now with it being summer here in Ohio I won't be wearing any long sleeve shirts or jackets for a while. I guess I could get a windbreaker but I'd probably die from heat exhaustion. All in all this is a clean looking effect without and funny moves that when done correctly looks unbelievable. For under $10 it's worth it just to know the method. I already have an idea for something else loosely based on this method. So I say go buy it now. Marc PS. I just bought Cesaral Melting Point and can't wait to see the difference between the two. I will post a review on it in a couple days. |

Melting Point is, to me, far superior.
