Hey guys, I was looking around for some tricks I would like to pull off at school and remembered about Stuck and how cool it looked. Tracked down the thread, saw the awesome reviews and went to buy the download. Did not regret it one bit.
Method Method is amazingly simple, takes some practice. But amazingly simple anyone can do it, except for those without hands..and without fingers, without a face maby...I don't see why they are trying to pull off magic when they can't see but I support them, hope they are doing fine. Teaching Really the best teaching I have seen, straight to the point and no stone left unturned. I think he could teach my cats Stuck if he wanted to Angles The angles are actually really good. People can be left, right, and in front of you. They can't be on your close sides nor can they be directly behind you over your shoulder. I don't think anyone would allow that..it would get quite annoying, I would giggle, breath down my ear tickles me. Diffuclty Not hard, pretty easy Quality of Video Surprisingly easy on the eyes Go get this if you haven't already! Support the great Greg Rostami He created a great effect. |

OK, it's great, but you folks don't want to buy it.
After all, it takes quite a bit of practice to get it down well enough to do it justice, notwithstanding Blindside785's assessment of it as "Not hard, pretty easy." If you're not willing to put in the time in front of a mirror, fuggedaboudit. |

What are you talking about arnon? I'm 16, it didn't take much assessment in my brain to put through to do this effect. I practiced maby an hour or less last night and I got it down to where I can preform it now. I impress myself in the mirror. I seriously wonder what tricks you actually can pull off if you can't even put less than an hour practice in one single effect.

Arnon if you are a serious coin worker then you would welcome any challenge to a slight...
if you are just a a guy looking to buy a self working trick then no effect that requires practice will be to you liking vinny |

Unless I misread him, I think Arnon was saying that he'd just as soon keep the effect to only a few who would take the time to learn it well and perform it well. Correct me if I'm wrong, Arnon.

BTW, Greg Rostami has very graciously released a bunch of his moves (performance only) on his website as short video clips. I absolutely LOVE watching Greg perform. Boy! Does he ever "get into it" when performing his moves and routines. His eyes are soooo expressive. Reminds me of Marty Feldman and Jerry Cologna. And his looks of wonderment and surprise jsut heightens the magic experience. Greg is definitely one of a kind. His video link is: http://www.rostamimagic.com/mvids/ Thank you for sharing, Greg!!

Scott, Turk, and Greg ROSTAMI:
Yes, you understood me and my New York sarcasm. I would LOVE to keep this to myself. And it's "easy" for a seasoned coin worker, but (s)he would make sure that it looked like a miracle by practicing diligently until it was a thing of beauty. These days, practice is a neglected art. I've been doing coin work for as long as David Roth, and we were not only friends, but also went to magic lectures together in New York and critiqued them afterward. I was also privileged to learn many original sleights directly from David that were not in print at that time, and was sworn to secrecy. So I mean to COMPLIMENT Greg on a great effect! Arnon |

Thank you Arnon,
I was wondering if you've shown STUCK! to David Roth? I am a big fan of his and I would really love to know what he thinks of STUCK! take care, Greg Rostami |

I now live in Los Angeles, and only get to see David when he comes to the Castle from time to time. I'll be sure to ask him next time I see him. Thanks again for an anytime, anywhere beautiful piece of coin magic. Arnon P.S. Hey Godfather, don'cha know that when somebody says "fuggedaboudit," they're trying to be funny? (No disrespect intended) |

This really is a cool little routine that is great for impromptu AND more formal performances. For an absolute KILLER little act, follow "Stuck" with Nathan Kranzo's "Squish Vanish," which looks very similar but uses a different method for a complete vanish. Anyone in the least familiar with basic coin technique will be able to work out routining the two together.

Sorry to be late to the party.
I just acquired "Stuck" and watched it from start to finish. What a great instructional DVD and what a great effect by Greg. I sure wish that all insutructional videos could be taught with such throughness and clarity. It was a delight to watch and to learn from. You can be certain that this will be viewed many times by me as continue to learn from this video and as I continue to pick up Greg's little nuances and taught mannerisms. All except the eyes... I have never seen such expressive eyes and looks of wonderment in a set of eyes. I could never come close to such eye mannerisms. Be that as it may, the ayes have it...this is a great DVD. Of course, just IMHO. Mike
