one quick question guys, obviously when someone does the levitation it has to appear to be a slow rise up, can the elevator acomplish this, (i.e. as in the balducci levitation you slowly rise up), from what i have seen on the videos, it appears you suddenly rise in about half a second.

You can rise as quick or slow as you want. I believe it is better to do it slow because it seems more magical.

That's correct. The speed at which you rise is entirely under your control.
