Daryl, what was the name of the color change you did where you squeeze the card and it changes? It was at the beginning of the Encyclopedia of Card Magic videos.

Oh dear…a can of worms is about to open! I understand that for you, this is a perfectly sensible question and I’m sure that you don’t mean anything negative by it. Having said that, I’m sorry to say it, but this is the type of question that really gets under my skin! I’m assuming that you mean the change that was at the beginning of the Encyclopedia of Card Sleights videos (first, please get the name right). I’m also going to assume that you OWN these videos or DVDs but you just can’t find (or won’t bother taking the time to find) this particular technique. If I’m mistaken about any of this, I’m sorry.
I feel like I’ve taken the time and I made the effort to make a tremendous amount of information available, but you want me to “hold your hand” and take you to the exact spot where a specific technique this is taught. Please, use your head! It’s a change, so why not look on volume seven where there is an entire section devoted to switches and changes. There are eighteen techniques explained in this section (and they’re ALL worth watching) so take a few moments of your own time – EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DO IT IN FAST FORWARD – and look over these techniques. It’s there. If you own these videos, PLEASE take the time to watch them all from start to finish. I think you will be amazed at how much valuable information they contain. You certainly don’t have to LEARN everything on them, but at least watch them to get a general idea of what is available. I probably sound horrible for saying this, but I hate it when people expect me to spend my time and effort to show them where something is located when it seems they’re not even interested enough to take their time to look in the most obvious place. I’m sorry, I need to take a break and cool off. Besides, I have a lot of work that's piling up... I’ll come back to The Magic Café in a few hours. |
