Sorry guys! I am back - I have had a lack of time and internet lately. My other career kicked off again to new insane highs - I was performing in a world premiere musical - it just closed this past week, so I am back on here! Any questions or comments from anyone are always welcome:-)

No at all - it was Valley of the Dolls - based on the cooky, and unsuccesful movie with patty duke. However, the stage show was a different story - Not only were we very successful, but we were sold out every night of the week for 2 months. Was wonderful!

Hey great stuff! I was secretly hoping you were going to say you were in "Wicked". I've heard a lot about it and am addicted to "Defying Gravity". That is one show I would love to direct. So many possibilities for staging! I've never heard of Valley Of The Dolls, but its often the case with films turned musicals.

Yeah look it up - it has some great music and plot lines...but the film was a total flop haha! I was able to see Wicked with the original broadway cast and meet with Kristen and Idina as well as Norbert Leo backstage - they are all such amazing individuals. But my favorite shows are Cats, Gypsy, Aida and Valley.

My Faves: Little Shop Of Horrors, West Side Story, Slice of Saturday Night, Rocky Horror, We Will Rock You, Chitty, My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins, Lion King. All absolutely superb. But Wicked is definitely the one I want to sink my teeth into!! Will look up Valley of the Dolls.

I've done little shop, west side story, rocky horror, my fair lady, and lion king:-) plus tons more. I'm glad that there is still a strong appreciation for the musical theatre world.

Yes there is even the new hairspray movie. Seemed to be quite a big hit.

Yeah but movies are a completely different frame than stage. I hate stage theatre being compared to movies - even when they are of a musical...Just refrain from comparing the two. Actors for both do not enjoy it.
The movie was fun, but not a stage show. I went and saw it with my cast of Valley. My girl and I sang throughout the entire movie, but still it was different than being at the Theatre.
