Change an orange to an apple.
Bite a red apple and the piece is from a green apple. or the piece is red but then the apple is green.

Not sure if this was mentioned...
Skin and cut an apple into the shape of a candle. Insert a sliver of almond into the top end, so it looks like a canled wick. Light it, blow it out, eat it.... Yummmm! Magic! ? Comedy (definitely).

Here's an Old trick. You Peel the Apple and it falls into 6 pre cut slices. Can be examined before and after. same trick can be done with almost any fruit.
If you don't know or need help on the method, PM me. |

Is there a bill in apple effect available? I am looking for a way to load a bill into an apple. I tried the same way as with a lemon but due to the nature of the apple, it's not possible the same way.

Milesart; I'm unaware of any effect available or in print but it would be fairly easy to create this effect. Carefully cut an inverted cone shaped plug out from the stalk end of an apple with a thin sharp knife. The with a narrow corer remove a central cylinder of apple being careful not to penetrate the skin on the opposite side. You might have to wash the inside quickly with lemon juice to stop the flesh from oxidising and going brown but experimentation will help determine if that's necessary.
Your procedure of vanishing the bill would require it to be rolled up as per some Bill to lemon routines. You will also need a container to hold the apple so you can load the bill and replace the cone shaped plug. I imagine that if the plug's sides where cut shallow enough you'd simply be able to hold it in place as you cut the apple in half. But who knows, maybe rubber cement glue on both surfaces would work? Given the difficulty using an apple presents over something like a lemon or an orange or a Kiwi fruit there would need to be a compelling presentational reason to use an apple rather than something else.

Tom Mullica did a bit I saw online several years ago where he did a card-in-apple gag along with a little extra-curricular stuff. Hilarious routine. If memory serves it was something about "where were you in 1984". Tom had huge hair going on, if that helps. The whole routine hits like a sixteen pound sledgehammer. Might be worth trying to find it. Even if you can't use it it's still one of the funnier magicians I can think of.
