I would have to say lybrary.com followed by trickshop.com.

The ONLY place where you can buy Magic Nook e-Book effects (authored by myself, Jim Gerrish, Eleazar Goodenough, Fred Goode, Stephen Christopher or Magicbob) is from magicnook.com . We have opted to operate the site manually, usually by myself because I am retired and sit in front of the computer all day anyway. However, I do go on short vacations (One coming up! Hurray!) and go to the bathroom, etc., so you can't always get hold of me 24/7, but we have so far been able to live up to our promise to respond to all e-mails and fill all orders within 24 hours. I also get a lot of instant messages from customers during the late night (in New Jersey) hours.
The difference between our customer service and that of lybrary.com is that we know our own products inside and out, and so we can discuss them with you, magician to magician, "hold your hand" as you build them and answer questions about technical performance details. We can even (gasp!) answer technical questions about effects you haven't yet purchased, just as if you were in a real brick and mortar shop and are trying to decide if the effect is right for you and your act. Because we are a limited product magic store, we can often provide hard to find props that are mentioned in our e-Books, like the magnifying lens for Jim Gerrish's Optical Delusionator... just as a convenience for our e-Book customers. Our Independent Authors (like Magicbob) operate by the same rules - 24 hour response time and we are there to back them up. Each author, Independent or Staff, also receives 100% of the proceeds from sales of his materials (not counting the percentage taken by PayPal for processing), rather than the 40% offered by lybrary.com. We have also pioneered the "Separate Individual Article" concept for e-Book collections. Have you ever purchased an entire magic book or e-Book because it contained one trick in which you were interested? Me, too! Wouldn't it be nice to be able to buy just the one trick you want without spending money on the entire book? That's the "Separate Individual Article" concept. Each article in any given e-Book collection can be purchased separately. So if you are looking at Magicbob's "I Hate Card Tricks" e-Book, but only want to buy "The Disembodied Prince" (for example) you can do so.

Yeah, but Lybray has better titles and easier navigation. All those tiles and front page web design quality scares me. I've been impressed with Chris' customer service as it seems top notch!
Just wanted to add my two cents. |

I'll give another HUGE vote to Lybrary.com.
I've bought a lot of books from them over the years and highly recommend them for the range, speed of delivery and customer service. The magic nook may have some good titles but as far as customer service is concerned I have always found them wanting. Cheers |

Your reactions to my post make me think you perceived me as perhaps attacking lybrary.com . I wasn't. I am also a fan of lybrary.com and agree that their range of materials is larger, the speed of delivery is faster, and their customer service is good.
I was merely pointing out the differences between their products and services and mine, and why we choose to do things the way we do, Front Page Web site and all (I've never been criticized before on the software I use to produce my Web site...I wonder that what has to do with magic? Oh, well, there's no pleasing some folks.)

I'd check out http://www.VinnyMarini.com
The Godfather Vinny has a nice collection of downloads from some really good young magis doing coins, cards, whatever. His offerings are always at great values, very affordable for some really good magic that you'll use and have at your fingertips forever. You want value, check out the "Crimp Change" (direct link below) there, just $10 bucks for a remarkable piece of doable coin magic. And look for the newest offering on some great coin magic called, "MB's Short Pockets." You'll love this stuff and there's a whole lot more in the download section. Check it out.
*Check out my latest: Gifts From The Old Country: A Mini-Magic Book, MBs Mini-Lecture on Coin Magic, The MB Tanspo PLUS, MB's Morgan, Copper Silver INC, Double Trouble, FlySki, Crimp Change - REDUX!, and other fine magic at gumroad.com/mb217magic
