NO! Zeneth's impossible twist is not from Japan. It's from Hong Kong. I rare buy card tricks but this certainly the worst card trick I've bought last year ! Un-natural handling !!

Hi coinguy,
I agree with you ,after I 've viewed the Zeneth's impossible twist teaching video I immediately put the video and the gaffs inside my drawer .And my $25.00 have gone. I think if I really like twist effect there are so many others. Why I need to spend my time on to practice this unnatural movement !

OK. back to topic . There is another company call Trick.Co in Japan .Their Rainbow Ropes effect are awesome!

I've been in Japan for about 6 months, and I go to Ton Onosaka's Magic Land and various magic club meetings. I've seen some pretty cool routines, but they're more sleight-of-hand than gimmick/gaff/store-bought-trick. Probably because when a trick screams, "Magic Prop" or "Magic Gimmick", it takes the magic away from it.

I saw Tomohiro Maeda do a nice Card to Box routine with a kicker. 3 cards selected and they end up in the box which is lying on the table.

One of my friends does a really nice 3 coin (Copper/Silver/Chinese) purse routine. When I first saw him do it, I could've sworn that he was using majorly gaffed coins. I still don't know all the workings of it, but it is really killer and fun to watch.

I also had the chance to see Shigeo Futagawa perform. He did some really great routines. He may've used gimmicks/gaffs, but he was pretty subtle about it.

Frozen in Time is okay, all depends on the presentation! I believe it is made in Japan.
