Always figured that was one that was a "TV Special" but then heard sometime ago that it was available but for a lot of $$ !!!
Still about the best T&R Card (of any kind) but better if it IS indeed real!!? |

Chris Kenner did play a small joke on the Copperfield fans by having an ad in Genii the month after that special aired.
It was done as a full page ad and called "Torn Asunder". There were only supposed to be 12 copies sold, for $500 each, which tipped most people off that it was a joke. I understand they got quite a few replies, and had to send all the checks back to their owners. |

There is a few informations about it: http://www.spiderlink.net/users/ralcocer......250.html
Here: http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~roy/magictalk-......ard.html and here: http://geniimagazine.com/forum/cgi-bin/u......00659;p=. If you understand written French, on LSP somebody wrote a big post on it, (but you need to register, etc.). I can't translate it here without author's permission, so if you are interested it is here: http://www.lsp-fr.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2682 (google translate will help you...) I hope it will be useful... |

IS there a way to get that effect to remove the signature?

For me is looks more magical to cover the pieces (the space that needs to be restored)than to only visibly stick (!) them together.

It does for David at least, because he has long, graceful looking fingers...
For someone with shorter, less than aesthetic digits, it may not look so great.

The material used is made by Letraline, comes in different widths, and is often found at art supply stores. Cheers, Wes |

What would we ask the clerk for, if we were asking them for assistance?
