He was probably pointing out a thread in the "Not Very Magical, still. . ." section that appears to no longer be there called "Proof Jesus was Italian" or something along those lines.
I'm sure it started out in good clean fun but then degraded into base forms of humor as you had both religious iconery and ethnic stereotypes to denigrate.
