Has anyone seen this new(?) Book Test from TrickShop.com?
http://www.trickshop.com/working_book_test.html Sounds a bit like Meir Yedid's W.O.W Book Test but with homemade c***s to me. Paul Brignall has been around for quite some time and has a good reputation so I can't see him releasing some rehashed rubbish. AP. |

Paul has been around for some time (he was one of my earliest teachers) and does come up with different spins on what's out there...I'd be very interested in reviews.

I got this yesterday. It's essentially a combination of two well-known methods to produce a two-phase book test. The instructions even say so: "While both of the above methods are extremely old and known by many, this is the first time these methods have been combined." But the combination of these two methods doesn't add anything to the book test. To the audience, you're still revealing one word chosen from a book, and you do that twice.
I may be wrong, but it seems to me like the "extremely old" methods should have been credited to Al Koran and Richard Mark among others. There is however a nice subtlety that allows you to show a gimmicked book as normal to the spectator. That's the one thing I got of this. |

You will need to do some major x-acto work to create one of the books.
