Hi there.

I made a little PDF file with some photos to illustrate the pass.
There's something I've come up independently, I haven't come across it in print, plus I hope there will be no problems with the "exposure" thing:

If anyone could tell me more about it, I'd be more than happy.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Mike

It's a classic pass with a top card cover. Nothing new here. Good idea, though.

Maybe the pics aren't clear enough but under the top card cover there is a Hermann pass action going on.

That looks more like a Braue invisible pass than an actual Herrmann pass. A true Herrmann pass involves a complete deck turnover.

That'd be the Tan Hock Chuan pass.

Yes that appears to be a reverse pass (hofzinser) with a one card cover. Ken Krenzel and others have explored that idea. The pass can also be covered by a deck move in the vertical plane from parallel to the floor to facing the audience.

Not sure exactly what you're referring to. I'm only aware of one Tan Hock Chuan Pass, which was described in The Sphinx. I believe Randy Wakeman also taught it on his video. It is essentially what Mike described in the PDF.

Thank you very much for helping me with this pass! So it's basically a Tan Hock Chuan Pass, but with a single card on the top as the "cover"?
