Hey Troy,
I have a few effects I have been sitting on and want to publish/put it out on the market. What is the best way for someone who has never published to go about this. David |

Hello David, maybe you could send a few effects to Magic or Geni, to get your name out there, or contact murphys magic and fun inc. It depends if you want to put out a dvd or market a effect. Attend a few conventions and get some imput from other Magicians, you could put a couple prototypes(dvd)(trick) together to take with you to sell.

What Troy said is a good start. I don't reccomend putting something out on the market without getting known first. If nobody knows you then they might not trust you with their money. After it is known and you want to sell it on your own, You can publish via Lulu, ebay, Amazon, or on your own website. Many websites allow you to do this. I wrote an article that I stopped publishing recently on magiczine. If you can track it down you can use what I have written there.
