A so called "neat freak" force is used apparently to hit a mating card. It's called a revolutionary new technique. No demo video available due to the fact that multiple views will reveal the method (which is a fair argument). But even the effect in it self is not described, which makes you wonder what you are buying. However, given Penguinmagic's reputation for copying something old and giving it a new name, I just wonder if this is the old forced used in "the rainbow deck" forcing two mates. Or another old force. I must say that Penguinmagic in the later years has done a lot to change the reputation by focusing more on credits and permissions to use. Is there an experienced card man around who has Alvo's Mating Call, and can tell whether its to his or hers knowledge is a "new" force principle. I know its only 6 dollars, however I have a 100 books on card magic, and I don't want to pay for old wine on new bottles. Best regards Jan Any? |

I got Mating Call for free from Alvo, and let me tell you, this force is awesome. It is based on one of the most basic principles of misdirection. Also, every move is motivated and natural. There is a slight set up which can be done (and I do) right under the spectators nose. I used this force on the same spectator twice (with only a day spacing), and floored them with it both times.
I do not own the rainbow deck, but I am pretty advanced in card magic and know many forces, and this force is new to me. Hope I helped, Uriel Nashofer

Yes, I also received it (as a promo) and it's new to me. The only thing is that it requires more set-up than most forces I know. The set-up can still be done whilst toying with the deck though.

He sells some of his products to many magic stores, but for the most part, he sells through Penguin Magic (including the force mentioned here, it's sold there as an instant download). |
