If you ever perform "Card to Wallet" and didn't like the handling of it or the fact you have to carry the wallet around with you, then you should look into purchasing Bob Solari's new effect called, "Pocketed." This is Bob's ingenious handling of this effect without the use of a wallet! A spectator freely selects any card and signs his or her name onto the face of the card. The card is mixed back into the deck. The climax of the effect is the signed card ends up in the performer's inner coat pocket. No slights, forces or gimmicked deck. Once you receive this effect, you will ultimately throw out all your old wallets and perform this fantastic effect.

I agree...I've had this for a few weeks now and I especially like the routining which sets up for the final reveal. As already mentioned, there's no palming and the "pocket gags" build to the climax of the selected/signed card being found in the performer's inner coat pocket. Bob also mentions another variation to consider with Pocketed such as incorporating it with an existing "card to wallet" to make it even more impossible. However, I think Bob's routine is great the way it is...all with the help of the gimmick which makes it all the easier to perform so that you can focus on the magic and bits of comedy.

Looks cool, but the move before the reveal of the signed card in the inner pocket looks a bit fishy.

I love this effect...I've used it several times and it kills... Its great for walk around too... Digital Trip is right, the pocket gags are great which make this a "Routine" folks, not just a Trick... The misdirection is great too...I'm going to call this one the working man's card to pocket,a sure fire winner...
Harv, you said the reveal before the signed card looks fishy... Trust me, get this and perform it, you'll love it. For those interested its $19.95 and if you haven't requested his free trick "phantom silk vanish"or "psi-sulfer", please do; after all you can't beat free...Here's the link: http://www.gmrcreations.com/bob/16-50.htm#pocketed Junior

Close_up_act is spot on with his assessment of this. I too have had this 2 weeks and it gets better and better with every performance. At times I just use the 1st "your card" in pocket then do the reveal in inner pocket. It is a good routine here folks.I have the deck cut and as Im asking one question, the deck is immediately tabled and never to be touched again, yet the card in in place to be revealed from inner pocket.

WOW - get this. I saw the clip, questioned something on it but ordered anyway and glad I did. I don't always wear a jacket but the majority of the time do so this fits in nicely. At $19.95 I think it is priced right. I don't have a problem with palming but for those that do the beauty of this one is THERE IS NO PALMING.
A nice cute funny routine that you can focus on the presentation and not worry about the moves - get this. |

I would first like to say that Bob is a great guy and has a great grasp of magic. This effect is a winner As the above state it is easy to do and will blow them away. I strongly suggest you get this. I would also suggest Bob's coin pail. This is another effect that kills and you don't need to be a coin expert. No skill is required and you look like a pro.

Could not agree more. The streamlined handling of the method allows the performer to concentrate on the presentation, which, if done correctly, hides all of the "sneaky" stuff perfectly.
Bob really amazes me with all of the quality, real-world products that he puts out. In this age of "you-tube" magic that can only be done from 1 angle and gets way over-hyped, Bob Solari puts out nothing but quality. David Corsaro

Is this similar to "Look Here Now"

Taler8 No . At 1st read I thought same thing. I guess you can say "similiar" as far as wrong cards, no meant other pocket etc. But that's the only comparison. Completely different method and handling, no D.L etc Its a winner although I only use 1 wrong card now and then reveal signed card from inner pocket.
