Hello All!! My good friend Jerry Foster wanted me to post the following review.
An awesome magician and master wood craftsman. Recently John Rogers has added his newest cigar to his product line. The "Hiding Place Cigar," will now allow the magician to do a signed card to cigar routine or a written prediction. This miracle looks like John's 5 inch cigars, with one exception. The ash is removeable and the cigar is hollow allowing the magician to take magic as far as the imagination will allow. If you purchased products from John, you already know the high quality. If not, purchase one and try some 21st century magic. I own two "Hiding Place Cigars," and give this product two thumbtips up. By the way I'll attach his link. Check out all John's projects. He also has some great video footage. Magically Jerry Foster http://www.woodencigars.com/hiding.html

Thanks for helping me out Mark. I moved from Dale City, Virginia to Simi Valley, California. Trying to reapply or transfer my membership. Yahoo is a no no and gmail is not worth a nickle. All blocked. I opended up a road runner account and got in. Thanks for the support Mark. I met John years ago at Magi-Whril. I saw his peoducts during the time venders were working their booths, I felt mesmerized looking at the wooden craftsman shio. Later on it the venders were performing ion stage, all of us a taste. John blew me away with his lecture and notes. From that day we stayed in contact, and a frienship formed. John designed a new cigar called the "Hiding Place Cigar." John's routine will knock your audience sox off. Many other riutines are possible. Let your imagination flow and come up with your own routine. John my message to you is, keep up the greaty work. Thank you for adding and sharing your routine to the magic world. Magically Jerry Foster

Is there any video of the "Hidding Place Cigar" anywhere to see the possible type effects it could be used for. I perform an number of card at different locations, some requiring differents folds. I cant seem to wrap my head around getting the card in a cigar. I have the cigars and purse and love the props. I don't doubt that these are just as awesome.

Johncesta: Actually I ordered the puzzle today, so at this point I can say that I have all John's products including his DVD's. Did you read my other note about his droopy cigars. If not he has a few and the droopy cigar will be retired. I am actually working with the Fearson Levitation with the droopy and it is coming along fine. The weight with certain cigars and cigarettes works better then using real cigarettes etc. John mentioned to me about you, not my name, but the fact you owned all his products. I have one of his giant cigars. It is huge and used as a final production. If I have a heckler in the audience, I can use it to knock them into left field.....

Mark,
Thank you for the post. I just got my "Hiding Cigar" from John today. I really like this cigar and the potential behind it. It's a really nicely made cigar. I have several cigars from John and they're all wonderfully made. |

As far as I know John does not have any footage with the hiding place cigar. If it is any help to you, I just did a one handed fold and was able to slide it in. Better to go vertical on the card. Also do not forget this is also good for predictions and signed card to cigar. It depends what level you are at with your magic. It is a good investment. I am probably going to get killed for sayuing this, and I certainly would not perform it this way, but you can even stoop down to a typical street magic routine Criss Angel style (stooged) signed card to cigar where you come out with the cigar in your mouth the entire time. Magic Magic Magic, some how the signed card is in the cigar and it never left your mouth. Here I am saying this nonsense and through the use of camera edits and stooges with impossible outcomes the guy ends up with a 200 million dollar contract. Perhaps that might be a good routine....LOL!!!!
