I might be moving to LA very sometime in August and I'll be looking for work, I was just wondering if anyone in the area knew of any good places ?

Is that Los Angeles or Louisiana? Taxes in California are really high now, but I guess that is true everywhere. Massachusetts sales tax is going up in a little bit.

It's Los Angeles, and yea CA was hight to begin with.
I might be moving to CA because to look for work in film and Television, so I thought I could do some side work as a magician to help pay rent when work is slow. |

Film and TV work is leaving Hollywood so fast you can't believe it. The state and city are killing the industry with regulations, permit fees and taxes...

If you want film and TV... many say you should try Vancouver.

I do get your messages, but I already have someone out there that is welling to let me work under him as soon as I can get to CA, the only problem is that I need roommates.

Since you're coming anyway..... this is THE PLACE TO BE! Despite the soft economy, So. Calif. is a great place to be if you are a magician and an actor. Despite all the kidding, if you're dedicated and stay focused you will make a good living here.
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!
