Hi there,
I was just wondering how people store their Tarantula gimmick? So far I've kept mine in the little box that it came in, but want something more sturdy and durable for it. I have found with that kind of plastic that it can sometimes blacken in my pockets (experienced this with a TT) so I was wondering what other people are using, so that it doesn't get turned on easily etc. Any suggestions would be really great. Thanks, |

I don't have a Tarantula, but every time I need a small container for something I go to a nice upscale candy shop (or a "Cost Plus: World Market"). There you can find an assortment of different kinds of hard candies that come in little metal cans and boxes. The bonus is you get to eat the candy and then have a nice little container for your effect. :o)
Borders book stores usually have a variety of little boxed/canned candies too. dsalley13 |

I am using a perscription bottle as suggested in another thread. It's OK, stores the gimmick and allows easy finger access. A creative person could find something better.....

I also keep it in a perscription bottle. Works great!

Mine doesn't sem to fit in my TT... I might have to hunt down some sort of bottle or little tin.

I carefully keep the Tarantula in my pants.
More specifically in the coin pocket of my pants.

I've played with the Tarantula, personally it feels a bit fragile. Coin pocket of your jeans or the little coin area in the front pocket of dress pants Doug?

I think the best place to keep it is in a thumb tip.

How do you store your tarantula?
In a cage with a heavy duty lock.

I found a great little metal box that fits the tarantula perfectly, with space to hold a spare spool and maybe some wax. It was from a shop in Australia called Smiggle that sells its own stationary. Don't know if they are in the states.. but it works for me here.

Try extra large TT. The one that has double length of a regular one. I personally use that to store EVERYTHING that size .

I use a perscription bottle as well with an extra battery. I keep it in my jacket or pants pocket.

I haven't tried yet but you could probably fit it in the new mini Altoids tin.
