I myself love Tally Ho's. I think the finish and feel is second to none. I just started playing around with squeezers (from the USPC as well) and find their cambric finish to be very nice too.

Anyone here ever see a traditional Korean card deck? Very different, yet essentially the same... there are suits and values, and they play similar sorts of games with them, but the suits and values are depicted in a more right-brained way (to use some pop psychology) than the Western deck. It is not as straightforward to read the cards, and more pattern recognition is involved.
I wonder if anyone does card tricks with them? They are small... at least the ones I saw... about 2.5" x 1.5", or something like that, and they are very rigid and inflexible... they'll last forever. But they lack the flexibility that is required for a lot of card sleights, as well as being too small for others.

The clear plastic decks I mentioned earlier whilst no longer in the NEXT stores in the UK are in their Next to Nothing discounted item branches. There are not many of these around the country, but there is one in Glasgow and some in the South of England.
If you have one of those stores near you, check them out. Paul |

The funniest thing was when Penn & Teller were over here doing their shows. They were outside and asked a spectator to go to a stall and buy 'an ordinary pack of cards'. He came back with a pack of Bikes!
Well it tickled me anyway. |
