I have misspelled several words in the search cell and would like to clear them. How do you do that?

Jay, as long as you haven't submitted the search you can delete words and change the spelling just like you would anywhere else. If you've submitted the search, then the misspelling should give you a "no results" type message and after 2 minutes, you can search again with the correct spelling.

Here is the problem. I would like to clear the misspelled words. Is this a Safari issue? I can't find anywhere to clear them in that browser.

I think I see what you mean now. When you start to type a word, it gives you choices and those are what you are looking to delete. Is that correct? It is not a safari thing. It's the way browsers work. It remembers what has been typed previously and you cannot delete them as far as I know.

I don't know about Safari, but if you are using IE and hit your delete key while one of the search selections is highlighted, the highlighted one will be removed. (lelsie, in your example above.)

I reset Safari - from the Safari pull-down menu.

I reset the whole thing but you could probably just check the "autoform fill text" box alone.
