I just love this device. It is tremendous! It is very well made and works great. The popping of the balloon can be controlled. It is a matter of timing, but it is also something that can be controlled to a certain degree.
There is a routine on the DVD where a rubber chicken is "loaded" into a couple yellow balloons. It is a hilarious routine and I was cracking up just watching him explain the routine. I highly recommend this. KJ. |

Wayne,
I have version 2. I'm not aware of version 1, so I'm not sure of the differences. However, version 2 works very well. One feature it has is the ability to move the inside component so as to prevent accidental breakage of a key element. I don't know if that is a change. Another feature is the ability to know when the balloon is going to pop for timing purposes and the ability to reset. Also, it is recharged using a USB computer port. All I can say is that this device is really nice! KJ. |

I haven't owned a Magic Smith product I haven't loved. Chris' ideas are consistently brilliant.
I have this on order, will post a review as soon as I've had a chance to road test it. |

This looks great, BUT.... IS THIS the version in the video ? from 4:40
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlYivMUi......Ba20WOKw I've been searching for it for a while now and cant seem to find it .... The video version, the Magician seems to be popping balloons IN people's hands. In the demo of bloon 2.0, it seems that the magician is popping the balloon on some sort of base ?! If anyone can explain to me if it can be done in people's hands I'd appreciate it, thanks. |

The video you linked to doesn't exist anymore.
The video on the Magic Smith site shows the balloon sitting on a table or chair and not being held. http://www.magicsmith.com/bloon.html

Harry You can't do that version in the spectator's hands, I'm searching for the spectator's hands version.

Silksock, it only performs well 100% of the time as in the demonstration video. Anything else and you will most likely be disappointed. There is a reason they did not demo a balloon animal.
