Maybe.....mixed feelings about that. Would want his estate to get something but would be happy if the limited number stayed that way.

The Dean Dill Triangle is simply brilliant. He left us too soon.

Quick question. I just purchased, used, Dean's Triangle #172. I understand from the tutorial that Dean 'switched out' the circular cut-out in the top triangle for a 'pocket' into which the coin is placed. My Triangle, however, has that circular cut-out (and no pocket). Does anyone else here have the hole? Thanks very much.

Due to an alteration mine does. I have one of the early Triangles that had the cloth flap over the place where the coin goes. I removed (i.e. cut) the flap off.

I have both, Patrick from Patrick’s Matt’s made me one. Personally I like the plain hole version….

Just saw your posts, MJ Marrs and Peckham. Thanks very much for responding. Even though my Triangle had the genuine manufacturing 'plate' on the bottom, I was a bit concerned that I might have had a knock-off because of the hole. You've put my obsessive mind at ease. Thanks again.

I have Dean’s triangle and I realize a card table where are you perform close-up is a little too high if you have two spectators sitting at the table it’s too easy for them to look up underneath it when you’re working it needs to be on a table lower than a card table so you’re a spectator can’t stick their head under the triangle they tend to want to do that.

Dean’s Triangle is a brillant effet. It’s probably better to do it stand up with spectators around and stand up also.

I know this is a very old and long thread. I have been trying to find the exact dimensions, width, height and etc regarding this, so many selling and I am interested and would like to be able to confirm its authenticity somehow..may just say 9.5 inches tall, how wide is it? Thanks for reading if you got this far
