Slightly weird question for my dad: He wants to know, of the magic kits on Amazon.com which would be the best quality? Does anyone have any recommendations for magic kits?

All three of these are excellent sets for a kid. Anything set from Fantasma, Cadaco or Melissa and Doug are well made. M&D is all wood and should last a lifetime. The plastic sets all use ABS (better quality) plastic. I personally recommend all three and they were all sets (or variations thereof) in my Magic Shop for three years. I would stand behind any of them.
Great quality wood props: http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-Delux......5&sr=8-1 Well made plastic props: http://www.amazon.com/Deluxe-Trick-Magic......5&sr=8-5 Another good quality plastic prop set: http://www.amazon.com/Fantasma-Toys-Delu......7&sr=8-6 Be warned, some of Fantasma's small sets are designed for mass retail and are not good quality (sorry Roger). Make sure you get a big set if you order his.

The Melissa and Doug kits are amazing!!! Great quality and good choices.
The Fantasma Legends of Magic is one of my best selling kits - it is truly a wonderful kit.

There is a brick and mortar store in Lincoln, Nebraska that specializes in magic kits.
They claim they have more kits than any other place or web site. This is their link: http://www.magickits.com/ |
