There's been some great discussion this week about the one degree philosophy. Lovin' the dialogue. I've also heard reference to some of your favorite tricks from the book, such as Truth In Advertising, Mr. E. Takes a Stroll, Behind the Back Triumph and Ballet Stunner, to name a few.
While I of course love ALL the tricks, I thought I'd highlight a few more... INTRO-VERTED. If you're familiar with it from it's original publication in MAGIC magazine, you have to see the updated setup procedure. What used to require a four-step process is now done in two simple steps! But there's more! Joshua Jay made a great discovery. The simplified setup allows you to end with a quite unbelievable kicker. This "technicolor" variation is on page 23. Even though it's just a paragraph, don't overlook it. HOMAGE TO HOMING An anytime, anywhere, three-phase card to pocket routine with an amazing ending. With a nod to John Carey, Lance Pierce and of course Francis Carlyle, this is my go-to card to pocket routine. Tip: Study the Asher Twist at http://www.leeasher.com QUANTUM KINGS This is another great opener. It maximizes the staging and psychology from my effect Color Blind (Brainstorm) to add a card-to-anywhere surprise! Super easy and super powerful. BIDDLELESS Don't underestimate this. This take on the classic Biddle Trick (Elmer Biddle's Trascendent) elminates the Biddle Count and adds several other benefits. And as with many tricks in the book, it's impromptu and completely in the hands. OVERTURNED STANYON I love using this to show three cards as four. Very deceptive...and fun. I'll stop with these for now. Feel free to add your two cents. John G

John,
I know I read that you mainly do material that you've created, which of course is outstanding. So, since you're doing lists, I would be interested to know some of the effects others have created that you really like. Craig

Quantum Kings is so, so good - it really floors people and is beautifully thought out - instant classic. I also love Biddleless - I've been tinkering with Transcendant for years and never thought to eliminate the Biddle Steal. A great routine.
