Hi John,
Big fan - your Brainstorm DVDs got me switched on to magic in a big way and I've never looked back since. Your thoughts on "one degree changes" are very thought provoking - its a great idea to apply to magic. One of my jobs is running a dance and performing arts company and I have found myself talking to the dancers about one degree changes they could make to their performances and it has proved pretty effective in getting the point across. I was wondering if you (or anyone else) has found any other wider applications of the concept? Cheers, David.

Thanks Shodan for the kind words and for bringing up this valuable point.
YES! One-degree improvements can apply beyond magic. There are a few examples in the threads here. It's still imprortant to note that it involves more than saying your going to change something small. It takes immense understanding of your strengths and a solid foundation as a starting point. If these and other related factors are not met, then a well-intentioned one-degree change can have an exponential BACKWARDS effect. Just some food for thought. John G

An interesting point, especially if, as in my case, you were going to apply this concept to teaching, rather than as a tool for personal development. Thanks John.
