I'm trying to collect all mem Deck history and where it began. So far I have traced the first deck back to 1593 where Horacio Galasso wrote his stack in "Most Beautiful Card Games". It was similar to the Stebbins and was wondering if anyone knew the sequence he used? I know it was re-printed in Gibecière in 2007 by Stephen Minch.

Juan Tamariz covers quite a bit of history in his book Mnemonica , you might want to check it out Greydon (though you might already have).

Conjuring Arts Research Center had an issue of Gibiciere with an extensive article devoted to this. I think it was written by Bossi.

Check it out, its 80 bucks! I'm going to do some other researching first, but I will definitely keep that in mind. I knew Stephen Minch published it in Gibiciere but wasn't sure the cost. I have just picked up Martin Joyal's book and it has some pretty detailed history in there. I'm curious to know if any project like this has been assembled? Basically a book detailing MD history...
