Try to master scarf juggling first.
FYI In order to successfully add juggling to your magic show it would be a lot easier if you had the calling to juggle. I like violin music, but I can't play the violin.

Welcome to the magic Café
I am not saying that you should give up, but I juggled for several years before I thought I was good enough to perform juggling.

Learning to juggle can be a long process. If you intend on performing you want to be very confident in what you're doing. And it may take years of practice before you're very good.
What type of juggling to start with depends on what you're drawn to. Juggling scarves is good if you want to learn standard toss juggling as it helps you learn basic patterns, though I learned juggling with beanbags first. Balls are good to start with as they are easier to juggle than a lot of different props, and from balls you can move on to clubs, rings etc. There are also a lot of other props to learn, cigar boxes, devilsticks, diabolos etc. If you're looking to make money with a juggling act, you need to be either very good, very funny, or preferably both. If you want to learn there are several good books and videos, but I would suggest you find a juggling club in your area as well. You may find that something you think looks cool is actually really difficult. Contact Juggling is a classic example. Though some moves are not too hard to learn, some of the basic moves will literally take months of practice before they start to look smooth. I encourage you to learn, but don't expect to be able to put together a juggling act any time soon, it will take you at least a couple years of practice before you would be ready to put something into a professional show and not look like an amateur. If anything it's a fun hobby to have that helps you develop good hand-eye coordination.

I heard from a friend that anecdotal evidence is actually quite reliable. |
