I think that's what it's called...
Anyway, someone came to my house today and showed me that nice trick. I liked it. I followed it up with your original .. "re-capped" and they loved it. Putting both together is quite nice. Your video/dvd On The Spot is one of the best out there. I hope your happy with it. You should be. I highly recommend it to my customers. I met you at my first lecture ever at Grand Illusions in Sacramento. It was fantastic. Saw you a second time and chatted briefly after Jason Alexander's act at the magic castle while we all stood in line to shake his hand. LOL Thanks for your contributions! p.s. card stunts is also great.

Hey Frank,
Thanks for the kind words about my work. It's always good hear a few appreciative words. The name of the trick you reference is "Pointless" not "Tipless" which kind of gives the method away. The original idea, by the way, came from Christian Griser who showed it to me after a lecture in Ohio. I was, frankly, blown away at how simple and visual it looked. I then put my own spin on it, added some contributors and we were off and running. Hate to make this guest spot sound like an advertisement, BUT this is a great opportunity to share the love. : ) PS Wasn't Jason Alexander's show brilliant? Great lesson for magicians in how to focus our efforts on just five tricks and present them like an actor playing the part of a magician - with clarity, class and conviction. |
