I will also 2nd Dr_J_Ayala's comment of "You should try looking into thimble sleights to see if there is one suitable to your routine."
There are thimble moves that you can do just as easily with a finger ring, and, in fact, the vanishes are prettier without using 'another prop' that may or may not serve any useful purpose during what is, in esssence an "I vanish the ring, then make it re-appear back in an interesting place" trick. I'll take sleight of hand to vanish something vs. a piece of apparatus any time as long as it's "doable"... |

Check out Tenyo’s Trap Box. A very well made, easy to use, deceptive rattle box. I came upon it by accident and I’m glad I did. Not as well known as many tenyo items but it’s very innocent in appearance and works every time. Here’s a video...
