I've been a big fan of many effects using the incredible Phoenix Double Decker cards from card-shark.
http://www.card-shark.de/index.cfm?page=......rtID=142 They are a true innovation - 104 cards that fit like a glove in a normal card box. They come in many different flavors and combos, and I have also used these for the past year for a kind of ultimate Trilogy effect that has no limitations. So good. But tonight I also discovered that these cards are fantastic for R & S effects - and frankly once treated these cards handle even better than normal Bikes. Here is why: 1) The R&S doesn't seem to easily warp the cards - the cards (even though paper thinner) hold up extremely well when sprayed. 2) You get a full 52 card spread - clean clean clean 3) When peeling away a top or bottom card from a R&S pair, your card just peels away with zero effort - superior to peeling a card with a Pop Eyed Popper Bike deck for example. 4) Cards can casually be dealt from a face down pile to face up and they deal out perfectly, and stay together also with no effort. Everything looks as it should and fair as anything. 5) Cards can easily be hand mixed or cut multiple times My happy conclusion is that R&S and the Phoenix DD cards are a match made in magic heaven. I know Card-shark sells grids to help with R&S but I haven't tried them. I used tried and true Krylon 1311 and with 2-3 light applications got super results. Granted preparing 104 cards with R&S is a nights work, but Card-shark can do the work for you I think if your request it at an extra charge. Some of his standard effects come R&S already (Photographic Memory and Ultimate Brainwave for example). Anyone using R&S for effects like Brainwave and the rest will be blown away by experimenting with a Phoenix DD. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased Trilogy Streamline. A great effect, yet I can see how this approach can make it a notch better, eliminating that one 'need' when asking for numbers. Reset is not quite as easy, but a small price to pay unless instant reset is a must.
So many possibilities with the DDs. I have the Ultimate Brainwave, and it is just so clean and smooth, nice to show both sides of the deck, etc...
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

If you like Trilogy Streamline, you will LOVE my Triple Coincidence. No Rough and Smooth, only a single deck of cards. 3 choices etc, seemingly no limitations, cards in full view all the time etc.

Feel free to PM me Alex - I'm all ears baby I was just sitting here a moment ago doing the easiest & cleanest Elmsley Counts of my life using SF on face up card #3 - I just can't get over how much easier it is now lol.
